I have people dying around the healers but they don't seem to care so long as they have another healer nearby to heal instead.
For this reason I find the evil temple more useful since the necromancers will actually do their own thing and be useful, even if they can't cast raise dead on their own like the healers supposedly can.
Additionally, and I suppose this is something I should just babysit more to avoid, but level 1 wizards will just walk up to a huge troll and try to blast them with spells all by themselves. This is a great option for playing Majesty on the go. I loved Majesty when I first played it almost 20 years ago, and I liked the sequel when I played it almost a decade ago. This mobile version is missing some features from the original game, but it's a pretty faithful representation of the game - and it's a great value.
So many games similar to this are free to play, but just push micro-transactions to actually play the game. This is more-or-less the same game that was released in , so it's completely possible to play without spending any more money after the initial purchase price.
I'd like to eventually see an updated version that adds in the missing features from the original - or even update the graphics to match the original. Overall, though - I'm very happy with this game. I'm a huge fan of the pc game of majesty so I was excited yet skeptical of this game when I saw it in the App Store.
I was pleasantly surprised with how good this game is at capturing the core game of the pc version. You play this game the same way you do on pc. You build your marketplaces, recruit heroes, build a blacksmith for the heroes to upgrade their equipment, etc.
When I downloaded the game it did say that it would need to be updated to work on ios11 so hopefully it works right whenever I decide to finally update. I do wish the game wasn't so far zoomed out though since all of my units and buildings are pretty small so I don't feel as involved in the fights and it makes it harder to click on my units when they're fighting enemies.
I liked how close it was in the original Majesty app. Besides that I would love to see more of the heroes from the full game added in a future update. This verson of the game is heavily inbalanced, the units have been made far too weak from the PC version for the only reason I can assume, to drive players toward the IAP currency. This is a flawed port and it is intentional so in order to push revenue. Units fall like flies wearing paper armor; I know,, I have the PC version of these games still installed on my computer and went back to play them to see if perhaps I was just remembering wrong I wasn't, you guys threw a monkeywrench under the hood of this game!
If you have played this game before you will see right from the start the feel of the units and notice right a way that they are severely gimped from their original version, which makes for a game that is not very enjoyable when for all intents and purposes it should be!

The game seems to only unlock one level each time you complete a level So you're forced to do the next level in the line, without any of the side levels opening.
This means I'm suddenly stuck at the hardest level which is crazy difficult, even when I'm playing on easy with no other level options available. Apparently the only way to unlock those side levels is to pay more money to "buy keys to the kingdom". Am I missing something, or is this a trick to get us to pay more money??
